Uses your wallet’s standard message-signing request. The app never asks for or receives a seed phrase, private key, password, or signing credential. A signature confirms control of the signing account at that time; it does not prove ownership of tracked addresses or authorize transactions.
The locally tracked address with the most observed public activity is selected. Branches are labeled conservatively: only an existing same-session Ethereum/Base verification can be “Verified mine”; other tracked addresses are “Possibly related” and counterparties are “External”. No address proves ownership.

You do not pick files one by one. Select the folder, or the disk if the window lets you open it as a folder. The page reads what is inside and lists the public addresses. You confirm once.
Safe Import classifies every value locally. Public addresses proceed after validation; transaction hashes open the matching explorer and are never saved. Private keys, extended keys, recovery phrases, descriptors, and unknown values are rejected and cleared.
A file with nothing to add is skipped, and the rest are kept.
